October 7: Remembering the Victims of the Hamas Terror Attacks in Israel

Today, we stand in solemn memory of October 7, 2023—the darkest day in modern Israeli history, when Hamas terrorists launched a brutal, coordinated attack across southern Israel. Over 1,200 innocent lives were taken—men, women, children, elderly citizens, and young attendees at the Nova Music Festival—and more than 250 people were torn from their homes and abducted as hostages.

We remember the peaceful communities of the kibbutzim—including Be’eri, Nir Oz, and Kfar Aza—where entire families were murdered in their homes. We mourn the vibrant young souls whose lives were extinguished while dancing for peace, and we honor the brave first responders and soldiers who risked and sacrificed their lives to defend others.

To the people of Israel: Your strength, unity, and resilience in the face of unimaginable devastation inspire the world. In your deepest grief, you are not alone. We wrap our hearts around every family who lost a child, parent, sibling, or friend.

At Borderstat, we stand firmly in solidarity with Israel and the Jewish community worldwide. We hold fast to the pledge that guided generation after generation: We Remember. Never Again.

May the memories of all who were murdered be an eternal blessing, and may peace and security be restored to the people and the land of Israel.
